Just a short drive from London, Portsmouth and the midlands, the Sandbanks peninsular offers a variety of waves and flat water to suit riders of all tastes and is ideal for kiteboarding and wingfoiling in almost all wind conditions. The majority of our lessons take place in the lagoon, where the vast waist deep space couldn’t be more perfect to take your first steps into kiteboarding or wingfoiling safely.
For more experienced riders, the open ocean of the south coast is just a short walk from the ‘pond’. Where in the deeper water and more challenging waves we run advanced clinics and downwinder adventures.
Poseidon HQ is based on Sandbanks Road, with our mobile centre situated right in the middle of “kite beach” forming the perfect base for our kiteboarding services. Equipped with a classroom, chill area, changing facilities and ample kiteboard kit, our converted 22 foot exhibition trailer offers a comfortably sociable environment to learn and relax in.
Whilst lessons are our priority, we welcome a friendly local community who are as excited as us about riding in the UK’s kiteboarding capital.

Car PArking
Along the full length of the Sandbanks peninsular there is ample parking space in a pay and display bay right at the beach. Further parking can be found in the residential roads adjacent to Chaddesley Glen and Brudenell Road, 500 meters to the north of Poseidon.
