Just returned from our August UK tour, and not wanting to jynx anything, but our trips this year have been a lucky charm for scoring wind.
Portland delivered 2 perfect days of wind, over the butter flat harbour waters.
With a fun crew of over 10 kiters following us over, freestyle was the focus of the weekend, and progression was the name of the game.
Seeing first back rolls, front rolls, doubles, unhooked moves and even the occasional accidental kiteloop, it was smiles and broken bodies all round by sunday evening as we all crawled ourselves back home .
We were stoked to hit it on such a good weekend, sharing the space with a solid bunch of local rippers, we really did score Portland and we're pretty sure there'll be a few more regulars shredding up and down the shingle bank and making the most of its dreamy flat water riding.
