The First bank holiday of May has been and gone, brining sunshine, wind and rain with it. Saturday and Sunday brought light breezes and gentle sessions, ideal for those with big kites who were keen to make the most of the quiet harbour. Then saving itself Monday, the wind delivered the full goods and was epic in the harbour all day long. We had plenty of new and experienced kiters on the water both learning to ride and nailing new tricks seeing smiles all round on an off the water.
Ahead the forecast wind is light and from the east for a while, so turning our minds to Paddleboarding, we're looking forward to our first SUP tour of the season this sunday from 11am when we'll be guiding a trip around some hidden bays of the harbour in temperatures the forecasters could be scorching.
holding our breathe too that the easterly builds just a little more so we can head onto the seafront for a kite too.
Great to have summer finally starting to show its face.
