BIG AIR CHRISTMAS PARTY & PRIZE GIVING

The jaded heads have past, but the memories from a good night are still strong.
The turn out was great, with around 100 people coming to watch the Dorset big air competition prize giving, and enjoy some festive celebrations and a drink or too with like minded people.

Located at the cliff, hosted by us and entertained by Dubheart, the theme of the night was community.
Super important to us all as sports are more fun when they're shared and extreme sports safer when they're done together..
So looking out for the less fortunate we decided proceeds from this event would go to Michael House, a local charity focused on helping the homeless find back their feet and rebuild a life.

With masses of support from King of watersports, the Bournemouth & Poole kite club, and all of our other event sponsors (listed below) the night was full of fun, kicking off with Prize giving..

With an amazing run of wind through the Autumn since the event started in October, we saw everyones level rise massively this year, and so many new entries we needed to extend the leader board.
It was awesome to see so many people tussling for the top spots, and in the end were stoked to congratulate and award the winners:

Biggest Air (Men)
1st - David Becket (19.6)
2nd - Chris Burke (18.4m)
3rd - Adam Taylor (16.1m)

Biggest Air (Women)
1st - Lucy James (10.1m)
2nd - Lizzie Byrnes (6.0)
3rd - Pauline Williams (4.3m)

3rd - Urs Schirbel (2045pts)

Thanks (again) to our sponsors the raffle and auction was a cracker..

And Dubheart, as usual, definitely didn't disappoint..

Thanks to everyone that came and joined us for a belter of a night, we had a blast and together even managed to raise £610 for Michael House, giving a bunch of people something extra to smile about this Christmas.

Stay tuned for info of how they use it, and expect more parties next year!
